DKSR SMACC Werbung

Under the motto "Digitize Public Services" the Smart Country Convention will take place in a new form on the 27th and 28th of October 2020. It will also deliver interesting contributions live from the Messe Berlin studio to your home or office. The event on October 28th will focus specifically on topics relating to Smart Cities and Smart Regions.

The Fraunhofer Morgenstadt Initiative would like to take this opportunity to present the Data Competence Centre Cities and Regions (DKSR) in a livestream on 28.10.2020 - 12 noon - in the Digital Forum of the conference .

The DKSR is a joint initiative by Fraunhofer, [ui!] Urban Software Institute, axxessio & Telekom and provides expertise and "know-how" to support and accompany communities in digital transformation.

The basis of the innovative and powerful open source solution is an open urban data platform, which collects and analyses existing and new data of cities, districts and regions on behalf of the DKSR and makes it available for further use. Your data sovereignty is always guaranteed and you decide yourself what may and may not be done with your data. Self-determined, transparent and reliable.

Only by securing data sovereignty can we generate innovative solutions along a digital value chain that correspond to the fundamental values of the European Community.

The use of open standards ensures full FIWARE compatibility, as well as compatibility and interoperability with all common systems. The DKSR solution includes local data management, operation, hosting and works with all providers of digital applications according to transparent rules. Communities can use an open ecosystem of Smart City application providers, provided the DKSR can assist in the evaluation of providers and procurement. This innovative consulting and support represents a fundamental innovation in the Smart City market.

In order to learn from experience and to exchange ideas on topics related to the use of urban data and its added value for citizens, you are invited to participate in the Morgenstadt Urban Data Community.
Take the opportunity to get a first impression of the open source solution of the Fraunhofer Morgenstadt Initiative and its partners on 28.10 at 12 noon and let us give you concrete advice for your city, your district, your community or region.
