[ui!] supports sustainable neighbourhood development in Innsbruck
[ui!] congratulates the City of Innsbruck and the Standortagentur Tirol for the successful implementation of the Sinfonia project. [ui!] accompanied the project team from the beginning and developed concepts for digital systems of neighbourhood management and implemented a neighbourhood APP based on [ui!] COCKPIT.
The data originates from sensors in the renovated residential buildings and is fed into a [ui!] UrbanPulse as a neighbourhood data platform with the help of connectors. Innsbruck was thus one of the first customers of the [ui!] UrbanPulse and has contributed significantly to its further development and standardisation.
Prof. Dr. Dr. e.h. Lutz Heuser, CEO of [ui!], states: "Innsbruck was groundbreaking for the development of smart city and smart neighbourhoods in Europe. At that time, new ground was being broken. What was important, apart from the outstanding technological results, were the insights into the social compatibility of the digital transformation."
The results of Sinfonia flowed into many implementation projects at home and abroad. Daniel Münch, Sinfonia project manager at [ui!], emphasises: "In Innsbruck, the foundations were laid for digital systems in neighbourhood management. Energy data management and citizen-oriented services could be successfully implemented."
