On 23.09.2020, Prof. Dr. Kristina Sinemus, Hessian Minister for Digital Strategy and Development, will be hosting the Congress Digital Cities - Digital Regions again. This time the event is taking place as an online congress and aims to provide representatives from politics and administration, business, science and society with tailored information and networking on the topics of "Smart Cities" and "Smart Regions".

Prof. Dr. Lutz Heuser, CEO, will again act as moderator and workshop leader of the WS2 section: "The European Way of Digital Transformation in Cities and Municipalities" and will lead to an interesting discussion with his experience.

1st introduction: Living-in.EU - Eddy Hartog, Head of Unit for Smart Mobility and Living, DG CONNECT, European Commission

2. working groups and participation opportunities of Living-in.EU - Ivo Banek, Communication Director at Eurocities

3. the view of Hesse and other signatories to the initiative

4. discussion about cooperation possibilities and joint project approaches
